TAYP is pleased to announce that Houssem Aoudi will serve as the Tunisia Chapter President and as a Vice President within the executive team. Over the next year, TAYP looks to implement new programming around the 4 E’s model: Education, Entrepreneurship, Exchanges, and Export, and Houssem’s experience in media and business will help ensure the success of this exciting initiative.

Houssem Aoudi, the curator of TEDxCarthage and a co-founder of Cogite Coworking Space, has been a key contributor to the growth of a strong and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in Tunisia. Under his management, Cogite has become a leading events space and a hub for entrepreneurs to gather, network, and develop their ideas. His current projects include co-working camps in Tunisia’s interior regions and the expansion of co-working spaces around the country.

As the president of TAYP Tunisia, Houssem will not only promote the 4 E’s Model, but also strengthen TAYP’s role as a critical stakeholder in the continued development of US-Tunisia economic ties. Furthermore, he will play a key role in developing new opportunities for young Tunisian entrepreneurs to succeed and interface with members of the diaspora community based in the United States.

TAYP would also like to take this opportunity to thank former TAYP Tunisia President Mondher Khanfir for his service over the past two years. He has worked tirelessly to develop a strong chapter base and connect TAYP with critical Tunisian stakeholders. Under his leadership, TAYP has been well represented at numerous events and in a variety of publications, and helped the organization become a strong link between entrepreneurs and members of the diaspora.

As TAYP looks to expand its portfolio and facilitate even stronger ties between the United States and Tunisia, it relies on strong, innovative leaders with a commitment to economic sustainability. TAYP welcomes Houssem to the team and looks forward to working with him over the next two years.
